五年级英语备课组活动报道(八)

5月25日上午,五年级英语备课组申菁老师在五(8)执教教改课Unit7 Chinese festivals。课后,备课组全体教师对申老师的本节课进行了热烈的讨论。

申老师在课堂上体现了以下教改研讨的要求:1、有明确的策略传授,例如读图策略。通过图片让学生理解dragon boat races, look at the moon,rice cakes等词的意思。2、有固定的语言模式,激发学生思维。申老师通过追问学生what else do you know about this festival?激发学生去主动思考。书本上从节日的时间,人们所做的事情和吃的食物三个角度来描述一个节日,但是节日背后所包含的文化信息还有很多,教师启发学生从story等角度深入学习节日。3、有高级思维的有效训练。例如在介绍中秋节的时候提到了人们经常吃水果,这是为什么呢?深挖文本,我们知道,秋天是一个丰收的季节,水果在这个时候特别丰富,因此才有了文章中的内容。4,本节课主题意义下的资源补充较为丰富,比如关于节日的歌曲,节日的绘本以及古诗词等,都是拓展文本的很好的资源。

译林英语五年级下册Unit7 Chinese festivals第一课时

教学目标:

1.能听懂、会读、会说节日单词:the Spring Festival ,the Dragon Boat Festival,  the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival.

2.能听懂、会读、会说不同节日的传统食物和活动。

3.能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4.让学生初步了解更多的传统节日,更加热爱中国的传统节日。

教学重点和难点:                     

能正确理解并朗读课文,并在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。

we are Chinese and there are a lot of delicious food in Chinese festivals. So I like Chinese festivals.

Today, we will learn: Unit7 Chinese festivals.

Step2.While-reading

Teach four festivals: the Spring Festival ,the Dragon Boat Festival,  the Mid-Autumn Festival, the  Double Ninth Festival.

T:What does…mean? How do you know that?

3. Try to find the structure of the passage

T:OK, now the story will tell us something about the four Chinese tradional festivals. How does it introduce? Read the story as quickly as you can and tell me.

当学生介绍四个节日的时间时,老师可以说:I have another question here. In the story time, it tells us the four festivals in this way. Why? ( 按时间先后顺序)

当学生介绍四个节日人们的活动时,老师可以说:There are different activies at different festivals.

当学生介绍四个节日人们所吃的食物时,老师可以说:Oh,Chinese people really like eating. It’s fun.

教学反思

本单元的话题是中国的传统节日。课前,教师可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息,包括日期、食物和风俗习惯等,为课堂教学做好准备。本单元词汇除了节日名称和食物外,还包括十二个月份,季节以及星期类的词汇。为了方便教学和操练,我准备了日历来教授日期。在教授节日相关信息的时候,我通过复习已经学过的西方节日,例如圣诞节,来引出本课中国节日的学习。本节课的主要内容是从时间,人们在这个节日所做的事情以及所吃的传统食物来介绍四个中国节日,其中日期的表达是个难点。十二个月份学生还没有学习,而且月份的单词比较难读,需要教师在课堂上以及课后不断给学生进行巩固。本节课是一个包含深厚文化意义的一堂课,课本中的知识远远不足以满足学生的学习,教师可以通过节日的歌曲,节日的绘本以及节日相关的古诗词等,扩充学习内容,让学生感知中国文化,更加热爱中国节日。
