5月22日上午,五年级英语备课组王小珺老师在五(17)班执教教改课《Unit8 Birthdays》。课后,备课组全体老师对这节课进行了研讨。
王老师在课堂上体现了以下教改研讨的要求:1、有明确的策略传授。如让学生根据课文图片猜生词。2、有固定的语言模式,激发学生思维。王老师在课堂上提问What else do you know? How do you know?激发学生去主动多维思考。3、有高级思维的有效训练。王老师在给出了两个国家不同生日的思维导图后,让学生自主阅读课文根据板书总结不同国家的庆生方式,锻炼了学生归纳总结的思维能力。4、有主体意义下的资源补充,王老师展示了其他国家生日的习俗和由来,让学生沉浸其中,不能自拔。

5B Unit 8 Birthdays教案
教学目标:
1. 能听懂、会读、会说单词:birthday, eleventh, eighth, April, together, game, March, July, August, December.
2. 能听懂、会读、会说短语:a birthday cake, eat noodles, have a party, play games.
3. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:when’s your birthday? My birthday is on…
4. 能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
(1)T: Let’s enjoy the lesson together. First, listen, can you sing the song?

(2) Free talk

T: Do you know my birthday? How can you ask me? (teacher can tell them secretly)

Step2 Pre-reading
1. Let’s talk. Show pictures 1 and 2.

教后反思
本次授课内容为五年级下册 Unit 8 birthdays。文本主要从时间、习俗和食物三个方面介绍了中外生日的差异。以下为我对本节课的反思:
教月份时,我先充分地利用学生资源,采取互学的方式学会一些简单的,如May / June/ July/ March.再通过找相同之处教会 “ September, October, November, December,January, February, April和August 是两个不易读准的单词,我就让他们跟录音多模仿,注意看老师口型,然后通过开会车,用闪卡,玩“大声小声”的游戏等来操练这些单词,这样下来,学生差不多都会读了,一节课的时间也就没有了。但我仅用了一节课的时间教授了12个单词,没有充分的时间教他们怎么有效地记单词,而是把记单词这一任务留到了课下(晚上作业),第二天一听写,结果可想而知,一塌糊涂,我无理由责备那些孩子们,试想想一个英语不是特别优秀的中学生能一个字母不差地默写出这些月份的又有多少呢?何况是一群只学了一节课的四年级孩子。我想:如果我一节课只教6个单词,再拓展一下孩子们的思维,说说What can you do in Jan/ Feb...? ”Seeing the word of “Jan ,what can you think about?然后进行一个调Whose birthday is in Jan/ Feb/ Mar...? Please stand up. Then asking and answering between the two groups.When’s your birthday ? It’s in...效果可能好的多,学生学起来也会轻松些,六个单词的记忆对他们来说就不是什么难题了。
