2016年四月十八日，我校承办了江宁区英语新教师培训活动。五年级英语组薛老师，在此次活动中，执教《Unit4 Hobbies》（story板块）一课，该节课课堂气氛活跃、课堂节奏收放自如、处处渗透着以学生为本的教学理念，尤其是最后的学生PK讨论活动，给观课老师留下了深刻的印象。 以下为本节课教学设计：

Step 1. Warming up

1. Free talk.

T: I like drawing. I’m good at drawing. (教授be good at)

This is my friend, Amy. She likes dancing and watching films. (教授dance, watch films)

What do you like doing?

(师生问答几组。)

T: He likes reading.

She likes singing.

2. Introduce your desk mate.

(学生用He/She likes…句型介绍同桌。)

Step 2. Presentation

1. Watch and match.

（出示课文中的四个人物。）

T: What about them? What do they like doing?

(练习见P38的连线题)

2. Listen and tick.

出示一张表格，学生根据课文内容勾出不同人物的爱好。

（在check out的环节教授play the piano。）

Step 3. Consolidation

1. Read after the tape.

2. Read in groups. (选择自己喜欢的方式读)

3. Think and write.（练习见P38补充句子。）

4. Retell. (选择自己喜欢的方式复述。)
