英语教研组活动报道二

为进一步推进我校英语课程教学改革,使全组英语教师明确小学英语主题意义背景下的阅读教学的方法和策略,提高我校学生英语阅读能力2021年1021午,英语教研组了本学期第主题意义背景下的阅读教学研讨活动

活动第一环节由房鑫老师执教六年级主题意义背景下的阅读教学研讨课。房鑫老师的教学内容是六年级Unit 6 Keep our city clean。房老师通过自我介绍的chant进行课堂热身,充分调动了学生的学习热情,接下来通过让学生欣赏南京著名景点的视频短片启发学生描述自己的城市,再通过城市角落脏乱的图片引导学生谈论What makes our city dirty? 得出air, streets, rivers使得我们的城市不够干净整洁,紧接着追问How to keep our city clean? 学生结合课文和教师精心配套的绘本探索各种使城市干净整洁的改善方式,整节课围绕发现问题,解决问题的线索引导学生学习。房鑫老师的这节课中有明确的策略传授,例如读图策略,引导学生通过图片理解;有固定的语言模式,激发学生思维,适时通过问题追问激发学生去主动思考;此外,本节课主题意义下的资源补充较为丰富,比如关于城市的短片,城市常见问题和解决策略的绘本等都是拓展文本的很好的资源。

研讨课后,每位老师提出了本节课的亮点以及值得大家借鉴的好的教学方法,同时针对本节课的细节处理上的问题,大家给出了详细的改进建议。

教学过程:

Step 1: Pre-reading

1. Self-introduction: chant(提出关键词:travelling)

2. T: Do you like travelling? Nanjing is also a famous travelling city. Let’s enjoy its scenery.

   A video(南京一些景点短视频14s)

   T: What do you think of Nanjing?

   S: It’s beautiful/nice/clean.

   T: Well, but did you see this different Nanjing? Look!(出示南京的不同面貌dirty/messy)

Sky is dusty(Why?) S: smoke from cars/smoke from factories/···

The traffic is too heavy.

Rivers are dirty.(Why?)SBecause there are many rubbish in the river.

And streets are messy too.

   T: So in these pictures, what do you think of Nanjing?

   S:It’s dirty and messy.

3. Dirty city will make pollution, and lead to disease, or even death. So what should we do?

   S: We should keep our city clean.(出示课文主题)

Step2: While-reading

1. T: Look, they are talking about their city too. And look at these pictures on the blackboard,

what do you think of the city?

   S:It’s dirty.

2. Watch and answer

   Q: what is dirty in the city?

   S: air/streets/river

3. Read and circle

   QWhat makes the air dirty?(让学生阅读p58,圈画出关键词)

     教授(smoke,factory/factories

4. Read and discuss

   Q: What makes the streets dirty?

     What makes the river dirty?

T: They are dirty because of the rubbish. Why is there so much rubbish in the city?

(学生讲完,老师可再进行补充)

5. Think and say

  Q: What else makes the city dirty?

6. Look and talk(学生根据图片信息生成文本)

  Q: What can we do to keep the city clean? We can···

(四人一组,根据图片提示,以问答的形式说一说)

小拓展:(walk to school)

Q1Can all of you walk to school?(No,because my home is far from the school, I will be late.)

    Q2: Is it safe?(Maybe not, because there are many cars in the street. So we can’t play with your friends when we are walking in the street. )

(put the rubbish in the bin)

Q:Did you read the picture book “     ”, it’s about···

What can we do to dispose of the rubbish in the bin?(Because it’s useful, and we can save the energy.)

   Play a game :Do you know the garbage classification?can you classify the rubbish?(玩游戏)

(move some factories away from the city)

Q:Where do the factories move? To the countryside?

Q: What can we do to keep the factories clean?

(plant more trees)

Q:Why should we plant more trees?(To keep the air clean.)

7. Think and talk

  Q: What else can we do to keep the city clean?

   (补充save energy/use green energy/use less plastic···)

8. Listen and imitate

9. Let’s read!

T: Let’s read the text by yourself. Four in a group, choose one way you like to read. Please read

it loudly, fluently, correctly and emotionally!

10. Think and retell

  T:Can you try to talk about why we should keep the city clean and what can we do?

Four in a group,try to talk according to the text. And you can add more reasons and

suggestions.

Step3: post-reading

1. Make a poster:

Nanjing is a civilized city now. Can you make a poster to tell more people what can we do and can’t we do? And talk about why.

Tips: Four in a group, write and talk. Here are more phrases for you.

2. Emotion promoting

(根据学生制定的海报)

T: City is a place where we live,we can do many things to keep it clean. I think your suggestions are all good. If we can try our best, the sky will be blue, the air will be fresh, the river will be clean, the streets will be tidy, and we can get a green city, have a healthy life. Let’s keep our city clean together!
