英语教研组活动报道四

2023年3月30日下午，我校英语组开展了本学期第四次教研组活动。此次活动由杨帆老师执教六下Unit 6 An interesting country(Sound time & Culture time & Cartoon time),英语教研组教师全员参与，并在课后进行探讨。

课堂开始，杨老师以一首动感的chant进行了自我介绍，并引出了Billy,创设出Billy将要旅行的情境，以此为主线串联了整节课，带领学生分别学习了语音板块、文化板块和卡通板块的相关知识。整节课上，杨老师充分调动了学生的旧知，引导学生参与到真实问题的讨论中，多次让学生去猜测去想象，帮助学生在语言学习中发展思维，在思维发展中推进语言学习。此外，杨老师十分关注迁移创新类的活动，强调学生在新的语境中，运用所学语言进行真实的交流与表达。

课后，本组教师针对本节课进行教学研讨并提出建议，互相交流学习。

一、Teaching aims

1. Students can understand, read, and act the cartoon.

2. Students can know, read the sound of “air” and think about more words with the “air” part.

3. Students can know more about different countries and appreciate the differences of different cultures.

二、Teaching procedures

Know about me

T:Since I’m your new English teacher, so do you want to know more about me? Here is a chant, listen carefully.

    T: Do you know Mr Yang now? What will I do in this summer holiday? And my friend Billy will go traveling too.(贴Billy头像)

1. Guess and say

T: Billy is reading some cards of four counties. Which countries are they? Let’s guess. Can you tell me some cities in Australia? Which city in Australia will Billy go first? Look at the picture and guess.

2. Let’s talk

T: Yes, it’s Sydney.(板贴悉尼) Class, what do you know about Sydney? I have some pictures to help you.

T: Oh we will find many interesting things in Sydney. But what else will we find in Sydney?

3. Listen and fill

T: Listen to the rhyme and fill in the blanks. Fresh air and fair view. Look at this word. What does it mean? It means beautiful. T: This is a beautiful rhyme about Sydney. Let’s read it together.Look at these four words, how to read them? Look at the red parts. What do they say?

4. Think and fill

T: Do you know any other words have “air” part? Talk in pairs then fill in the blanks.

5. Listen and answer

T: After visiting the fair Sydney. Billy posted some pictures on moments. But Billy can’t cook. So How will Billy learn about cooking？ Let’s listen and answer. He will ....

6. Watch and answer

T: Yes, now Billy knows something about cooking right? And Look! Billy posted a cooking video! Watch and find what does Billy cook?

7. Think and share

T: When Billy is cooking, What does Bobby say? Oh Is Billy a good cook? Why? Read the cartoon and look at the pictures then find the answer. Bobby says “Is Billy a good cook?”Let’s imagine! What will Sam say? If you want to be a good cook . What will you do?

8. Read and imitate

T: It’s time for role-play. Work in groups of 4. One of you is the narrator.

11. Make a report

T: Billy posted some pictures! Mike，Mickey and Liu Tao like it.

T: Here are 3 cards. Look! You’ll find the...in the USA.

T: You’ll find the Great Wall in China. You’ll find the Stonehenge in the UK.

T: Now Let’s work in groups of four, Choose one country you like. After that I need you to come here and share.
